outline 2

I am going to do my next video on letter sounds A-Z.
I will go through the alphabet letter by letter and introduce the letter. For example, show a picture of the letter A. Then I will say how the letter sounds and show  "Ah" the sound it makes. Next, I will have examples of  pictures and the word that start with the letter A like Apple, Ape, and Alligator. I will have both the picture and letter. I will go through all the letters in that format.

3 Video Critiques!

The first video I looked at was called "Gaming in the Classroom". I think it was too short and pointless. It talked about how a teacher liked to use gaming in the classroom for other things than math. He like to use games that make kids think...which is a great thing but then he went on about parents and teachers looking at the games to make sure that there was no underlying bad messages. I thought that he picked an ugly background althought I understand why he choose that area being that it looks like thats where his students go on the computer. http://http://s99.photobucket.com/albums/l292/nextvista/light_bulbs/?action=view&current=HHH_gaming.flv

The next video I chose to watch was called Scuba Instructing. Steve talked about and showed you what tools you need to scuba dive. He then went into what you need to do to become a scuba instructor and what kinds of diving there are and where you can scuba dive. He also talked about saftey. Some things that I didn't like were they cut his head of for some parts while he was talking to show the merchandise. It also did this speed up thing with crazy music at parts which caught me off gaurd. I thought the sound was very good and the concept of the video was good too!

The next video I chose was called Elimination Poverty. This video had a great message but the visual was blurry for most of the video and when a boy speaking spanish was talking I could not understand him because I could not read the English words due to the blurryness.I think they should have put some kind of music in the background at the very begining when they listed the facts. I love the idea of the Agruculural school that teaches the poor how to make money. Very good message!
